A hanging shell with the warm glow inside

The Frosted Shell Pendant Light is a hanging fixture with a frosted-glass shell-form diffuser — about 12 inches across — suspended from an adjustable cord. The frosted glass turns the LED inside into a soft, even, candle-like glow that doesn't create harsh hot-spots on the surfaces below. Adjustable hanging height: 18 inches to 6 feet of cord, drop where you want it.

Pendant lights live or die by the shade. Most modern pendants use clear glass that creates a hot spot on the dining table directly below the bulb. This one uses frosted shell-form glass that distributes the light evenly across a 6-foot diameter at standard dining-table height. The shell silhouette is subtle enough that the fixture works in non-coastal interiors too — it reads as 'organic curve' rather than 'literal seashell.'
